It’s time to get those masterpieces out of the studio and into the spotlight! We are looking for the best talent Lake County has to offer for the upcoming [unveiled] Art Exhibit.

Whether you’re a painter, a photographer, a jeweler, or a digital wizard, we want to see your vision.

The City of Mentor, Ohio - Municipal Government and the Mentor Community Arts Commission are looking for local creators to transform humble rain barrels into functional masterpieces. Help us protect Lake Erie while giving the city something spectacular to look at!

🌟 Why You Want in on This: Publicity & Pride: Your art will be front-and-center in high-traffic spots across Mentor.
🌟Be a Scavenger Hunt Legend: Every barrel is a "mission stop" in our city-wide scavenger hunt. Fans will scan your custom QR code to check in and compete for prizes—making you a local celebrity!
🌟Cash in Your Pocket: We want to support your craft. Selected artists receive $75.00 upfront for materials and another $50.00 once that beautiful barrel is delivered and approved.
🌟The Big Auction: At the end of the summer, your work goes up for online auction, reaching a massive audience of potential collectors and fans.

Calling artists in Lake County!

Mark your calendars for:
Mentor's [unveiled] ART EXHIBIT ART DROP OFF!

ART DROP-OFF: April 27, 2 to 6 pm at the Mentor Municipal Building, 8500 Civic Center Blvd., Mentor, Ohio 44060

Over $2,000 in prizes may be awarded to winning participants.
Artists can submit up to two pieces of artwork for $20 total.

This contest is open to all artists ages 16 years and older.

Artists can submit all media, including photography, drawing, painting, 2D, 3D, digital, needlework, jewelry, and mixed media.
The grand prize winner will receive a monetary award and a solo exhibition at the City of Mentor, Ohio - Municipal Government, City of Mentor Municipal Building for the 2027 year.

ARTIST RECEPTION: May 1 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
EXHIBIT DATES: May 1 through June 30th
