Founded in 1958, Menomonie Theater Guild is the oldest community theater group in western Wisconsin. Our main stage season produces plays and musicals at the historic Mabel Tainter Theater, while our children's programming continues to expand to meet the artistic needs of our community.

After a BUSY and FUN summer of theater, it's time to turn our attention to the upcoming 2026-27 Menomonie Theater Guild season. ☀️🎭

We're so EXCITED for this year, with the classic You Can't Take it With You (first performed in 1936) to the brand new Come From Away (just opened for community theater productions this month) and everything in between.

Season tickets are on sale beginning TODAY, with single show tickets available on September 8, 2026. Use the link below to purchase your season tickets online (select "packages" on the title bar), or follow the "tickets" button on the MTG website to take you to our ticketing vendor to purchase. Friendly, in-person assistance is also available at the MTG Box Office (502 West Second Street, Menomonie) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM. 🎟🎟

Benefits to season tickets? MTG covers the ticketing fee for season ticket holders, and you will save $3 per ticket over individually purchased seats. You are allowed first access to seating, so you can select your favorite seat for EVERY show. And best of all.......you won't miss ANY of the fantastic Menomonie Theater Guild shows this year! 😍😍

Menomonie Theater Guild's production of Disney Alice in Wonderland JR has THRILLED two FULL TO THE BRIM audiences with it's sweet story of going on a grand adventure and somehow finding YOURSELF! ❤️

LUCKY YOU.....they are still a handful of tickets remaining for tonight's performance (8/1) at 7:00 PM, and we would LOVE to share this special experience with YOUR family. A night at the stunning Mabel Tainter Theater, special memories with your family, and maybe even a sweet treat at intermission.....what's NOT to LOVE?!?! 🐰🎩⏰

The time has FINALLY come to announce the first show of the Menomonie Theater Guild 2026-27 season.........COME FROM AWAY!

Come From Away is based on the true story of the time when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland, played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town turned into an international sleepover, when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from around the globe, were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family.

We are thrilled to announce a fabulous leadership team for this production, with Director Carol Ropella, Music Director Ruthann Ledgerwood, and Choreographer Alex Hall. Auditions will be held at the MTG Studio (502 West Second Street, Menomonie) on August 11 and 12, 2026 at 6:30 PM. It's OPENING NIGHT....and we cannot wait to wave HELLO to all of the audience members sure to be enchanted by this whimsical tale of Alice in Wonderland JR at the Mabel Tainter Theater this weekend! 🎩🐰⏰

We've polished and perfected the dancing and singing, the only thing left for a perfect performance is......YOU! Tonight is full to the brim, but we do still have seats remaining this weekend with best availability on Saturday evening.
