Check out this great article in Volume One about the All Wisconsin Shop Hop — going on now through October 31.

The first-ever All Wisconsin Shop Hop, a statewide quilting event, encourages quilters to visit favorite and new-to-them businesses.

Each hopper will receive a free collectible five-inch quilt square from participating shops as a thank you for participating. Hoppers are also eligible to win some fabulous prizes, depending on how many shops they visit: fabric, quilt kits, patterns, thread, sewing machines and more — even a quilting cruise.

For locals, consider popping by these participating Chippewa Valley shops, from Sept. 1 - Oct. 31.

We still have openings in these great classes, including Beginning Quilting, Autumn Leaves Table Runner, Crochet 101, the Cyclamen Cowl and more. Most of the classes are in the evening or on the weekends to fit your schedule. Our website has the full list and we have many samples at the shop.

Are you ready?! The All Wisconsin Shop Hop starts today and runs through the end of October. Collect a commemorative 5" fabric square from each shop. If you haven't picked up your magazine yet, you'll want to get today. It includes the passport, and is the only place to get the maps for all the shops. It also includes 5 patterns! Can't wait to see you!

Time to for a little silliness as we celebrate the arrival of new yarn from Toil & Trouble. This fantastic yarn comes to us from the Witch Capital of America — Salem Massachusetts. And the wait is over! We now have self-striping yarn from the famous Norwegian knitting duo, Arne & Carlos.

I've been working on a Möbius cowl with the new Firefly yarn. Had to start over 3 times before the instructions finally clicked, but now that I figured it out, it looks so cool. I'll try and take a photo later as it's not with me at the shop. What kinds of fun projects are you working on this week?

The Falling Leaves Shop Hop is 20 this year! We have 11 shops participating. Each shop will be giving away stickers to decorate your sewing machine, water bottle, or anything else. We will have Falling Leaves projects and kits available for purchase. Finishers will receive a commemorative 20th Anniversary tote bag and a 20% Reward Card.
