The famous hues of the "Floating City" is captured here in ROBIN SCHOLL's "The Colors of Venice" - Mixed on Paper - 37" x 30".

Robin is known for impressionistic landscapes which focus on light and color in the natural world. Her artwork is painted from her wide travels and favorite California scenes, using a unique mixed media of watercolor and pastel.

“The client had always had collies. She didn’t have any specific one in mind, but she trusted me to create a collie of my choosing. When she saw the finished sculpture, it brought her back to a collie she’d given her son when he was little. I’m grateful it connected with her in that way, that the piece turned out to be more than just art—it became something truly special.”

Hope to see you today at our celebration of this month's feature show "Color Therapy" -- a collection of original monoprints by Portola Valley artist KIM HOLL. You’re invited to meet the award-winning artist, experience her latest work, and mingle over light refreshments.

This body of work grows from an intimate journey of illness and survival and the daily choice to live fully.

Kim explains: "Art and color have become my therapy. Making art gives me pleasure, joy, and peace. It is a space where fear quiets and gratitude grows. These works reflect that space -- an affirmation of life, presence, and the quiet strength in choosing to move forward with openness and grace."
