Mendocino Center for Circus Arts (CircusMecca) CircusMecca is an all volunteer 501c3 non-profit for high level aerial arts education and performance Aerial only and ages 8 to 88.

Beginning classes in Ukiah are Mon/Wed from 6:30pm-7:30pm at Starz Gymnastics. Beginning in Mendocino Village are Sundays from 2pm-3pm at the Mendo Comm School. Adult only classes in Mendo are Wed and Friday 9:30-11 at CCM. We focus on high-level circus acts such as aerial silks, aerial hoop, straps, trapeze, and aerial rope. We have over 100 students in the Mendocino and Ukiah areas. CircusMecca

We put on an amazing show—our performers love what they do, and it shows. We have incredible aerialists performing on silks, hoop, trapeze, straps, and rope, and our youth troupe is one of the best in the country. Come to one of our shows and see for yourself! Classes
Our classes are a fun and exciting way to develop self confidence, strength, endurance, agility, rhythm, grace, poise, and perseverance. We teach six days a week, with classes in Mendocino and Ukiah. We instruct at all levels, from absolute beginners to some of the best students in the country.

🚨Upcoming Circus Class Closure🚨

Thursday June 11th because of graduation 🧑‍🎓

No class from June 16-August 1st due to and being out of town and the Comm School being closed for renovations for all of July 🛠️

Level 6+ students can come to their house for upcoming shows all of July.

One of our favorite things about circus culture, but especially our youth students, is how encouraging and communal everyone is🥰🎪
Lizuca did her first QUADRUPLE corkscrew after our show last Saturday and it was phenomenal! These are not easy to let go of and do the drop; they’re very scary as you can imagine😍

When I first watched this video I was smiling so big because yes, first times are the most exciting! But I was also smiling at some of the other performers below, cheering her on, hyping her up, and celebrating her win 🥹❤️ In circus, it feels like a persons’ win is everyone’s achievement; there isn’t a competitive nature (except with yourself sometimes) or any cliquey socializing. They’re ecstatic for you when you reach a new high and it’s one of the best feelings to be supported by the people you do the same for🫶

We love our community, thank you so much and for creating such a nurturing environment for us🎪❤️

Look at that split balance 🤯 and while lip syncing and dancing 👏👏👏 That’s gotta be record breaking! The strength and balance to hold that for longer than a few seconds is more challenging than people give it credit for 🎪 Especially when moving!

Hi, this is . I don’t normally post anything nowadays, but I wanted to give a quick shout out to our amazing social media manager, Hana O’Connor (), who has managed our general social media for the last five years. Hana started with us as a student when she was just 15 and worked her way up to being one of our great instructors before moving on to London, SF, and then most recently LA. She still teaches aerial in LA while running her own awesome clothing business (worn by Paris Hilton at Coachella, for example) and is phenomenal at handling all our social media needs so that we can focus on teaching. Please join me in thanking Hana for everything she does!
