ArtLab Gallery will be ending its experiments at 15 East Main Street in Mendham Boro, NJ on Saturday, August 10th, 2024.

We want to thank A LOT of people- the friends who gave us a space to play in, the artists who shared the space with us and the other artists who let us showcase and sell their work over the past 11 months. We hope you had as much fun as we did.

Come see Midsommar Group Show and all our featured artists in this venue one last time. It’s massive and fun and it absolutely needs to be seen to be believed :-)

Here’s to more experiments in new places in the future. For now, keep experimenting, take risks, please stay healthy, find joy and always -
make art!

It was a thrill to have Christy O’Connor install & perform her piece “In Memorium” during the Midsommar Artist reception June 22nd 2024, as the most recent iteration of a long process spanning several arts institutions over the past year. Christy writes, “ I want to share a huge heartfelt thank you to Bischoff Inn, Gardenship Art, ArtLab Gallery and Frontline Arts for providing me time, space, and access to their resources for bringing this performance and installation to life through the various stages since its inception in March.

I developed the initial sketch concept during my 2-week residency at Bischoff Inn. From there, I was able to utilize the print studio at Frontline Arts to fill my installation space with intaglio prints.

Then during my 7 day video residency at Gardenship Art’s IN7 I filmed my short film “In Memoriam”.

All of this work came together in a full sized multimedia installation at ArtLab Gallery in Mendham NJ, on view through August, alongside their summer exhibition Midsommer.
