at night and overlooking Riverside Drive during the day.

and I watched the skateboarder on the left fly down the hill no fewer than 20 times on our various walks and runs down Riverside and through Tom Lee Park. No way I’d have the guts to do that like he was.

Denizen & Antagonist. Yet still a pretty good boy. This is Cooper, ’s fur child, and resident of The Tuck Shack (he even has his own room, kinda). And he likes a noisy film camera about as much as he likes El Tigre/Bobby, the cat that sunbathes in the backyard.

This is from my first roll of black and white film, and the first time I’ve tried shooting with film. It has turned out to be a lot of fun, and the anticipation of seeing the images is exciting! More to come soon!

Seeing a faint haze of light in the sky led to an impromptu Milky Way shoot a couple nights ago just outside of . This is my first attempt at shooting the Milky Way, and while I have a long way to go, I’m pretty excited to finally get into it and have this image turn out the way it did!

Sky: 15 images stacked at: 14 sec / f1.4 / ISO 2500 : Edited in Lightroom : Stacked in Photoshop
Camera: Sony a7R
Lens: Sigma 35mm f1.4
