Narnia is Directed and Choreographed by Director of Theatre Education Ty Lenderman (Junie B. Jones: Toothless Wonder) and Music Directed by Tom Johnson (Seussical) and JD Willis (Junie B. Jones: The Musical).

🗓Audition Dates:
-Saturday, Aug 8 (1PM)
-Sunday, Aug 9 (3PM)
-Possible Callbacks: Monday, Aug 10 (Beginning at 5PM)

Audition Location 📍: The Circuit Playhouse, 51 South Cooper Street, 38104

🎶Prepare: 16 bars of a Musical Theatre song. Singing from the show is welcomed.

(Please Note: The role of The White Witch has already been filled. All other roles are open.)

**This production is casting Ensemble members who will also understudy principal roles with the possibility of guaranteed performances throughout the run.

***ALL participants MUST be available for weekday morning matinees! Tuesday-Friday 9am - 1pm, in addition to public performances on Friday evenings at 7pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm.

Narnia begins rehearsals on September 29th and runs November 6 - December 20, 2026

We'd like to congratulate Lucy on her achievements! Lucy Gibson won Playhouse on the Square's Playslam! Competition in 2024 and 2026. Her play "Forget Me Not," that won our Playslam! Competition in 2026 went on to win the Playwrights for Change Competition. Congratulations Lucy, we can't wait to see what you do next!!

Frozen is Directed and Choreographed by Guest Artist Whitney Branan (The Wizard of Oz; Sweeney Todd), and Music Directed by Tom Johnson (Seussical; The Wizard of Oz).

The following roles have already been filled: Elsa (filled by Resident Company Member Brooke Papritz); Anna (filled by Resident Company Member Caroline Simpson); Hans (filled by Associate Resident Company Member Chad Fruscione); and Olaf (filled by Resident Company Member Drew Sinnard). All other roles are open, though some may be filled by Associate or Resident Company Members.)

Come help us welcome home a former Playhouse on the Square intern, Laura Stracko, who is currently on the National Tour of SUFFS!

Many of you will remember Laura from shows at Playhouse, such as August Osage County, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Bad Jews. Additionally, she was awarded the Larry Riley Rising Star award in 2010 at the Ostranders.

Please join us for a “meet and greet” at Playhouse on the Square for Laura on Monday, July 27. We will meet in Pat’s Café inside the Playhouse administrative building from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

SUFFS will be playing at the Orpheum Theatre beginning on Friday, July 31st through
Sunday, August 2nd.

We know Laura would love to reconnect with you, her Memphis family and fans.
