Susan Loves Paper

Susan Loves Paper I've had a life long love of all things paper, books, journals and COLOR. This page is for me to share my paper and mixed media musings. It is my Zen workout.

I abolutely do it for myself. Enjoy. I abolutely do it for myself, and I'm not professionally trained.

Sewing pattern tissue paper that is partially “Froyled” 😂😂with leftover liquitex acrylic ink-white in a needle nose bottle, quinacridone nickel azo gold, and watered down liquitex gold. I may leave it like it is fore a specific effect, or I may add a little bronze, and possibly a little bone black. Stay tuned. Froyle Davies FroyleArt

Thanks Ceri Griffiths Creative Designs for another great challenge! 🎨👩🏻‍🎨

Day 4 of my goal for this challenge is to reuse, reduce, recycle! I used gel printed book page trimmings from a previous collage, and gel printed collage paper slivers & scraps, circles punched with my fun new multi-size in one hole punch to put this mixed media collage together on pattern tissue on a 3 x 4 3/4 inch envelope as a substrate with a little ink around the edges. Too bad I am not able to capture the metallics. I will probably use it to hold an ATC for trade. Thanks Ceri Griffiths Creative Designs for another great challenge! 🎨👩🏻‍🎨

Day 2 of my goal for this challenge is to reuse, reduce, recycle! I used brayer off paper, trimming from a greeting card sample, a circle punched from a brayer off page that I was about to discard because I tested out my new crop-a-dial hole punch with multi size punches, said punches, gel printed collage paper scraps, bits of sewing instructions and sheet music and mark making with metallic gel pens, and black micron pen to put this mixed media collage together on a 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 paying card as an ATC substrate. That’s a lot of stuff on one little rectangle! Thanks Ceri Griffiths Creative Designs for another great challenge! 🎨👩🏻‍🎨
