"The Church should stay out of politics." Interesting... Jesus came to establish a Kingdom, not a religion. He wanted to tear down the man-contrived obstacles that would keep people from the Kingdom culture He was bringing. This idea in no way diminishes who God/Jesus/Holy Spirit are, but it helps put them in the proper perspective. They are not an option. God's Kingdom is NOW. As King Jesus said, "... for the Kingdom of God is within you". THAT is how He establishes His Kingdom in the earth... his people becoming empowered ambassadors, representing Him and executing His will. He said to seek first The Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these thing shall be added to you. Let King Jesus set up Kingship over your life. Get in The Word and and let His Kingdom culture sink into your spirit. The world's political endeavors will always resemble the ideologies of those with this world's power, but they will always be inferior to God's Kingdom plan and culture. If you believe in Jesus, start living the life that is "not optional".

For any HR people out there, have you considered going through your handbook/policy guide, to find unnecessary verbiage, that could legally obligate you in court? I've done this and most often found potential problems in the areas of discipline/progressive discipline/corrective action, PTO, conduct, and ambiguity in general. Remember, the purpose is clear, concise, understandable communication (not a literary award) so your greatest assets... YOUR PEOPLE, know what is expected of them and they can come to work each day knowing that what is expected of one is expected of all. The fair administration of the handbook/policy guide is the level playing field your employees stand on!

Hey! My name is Scott Cain and I've had a deep appreciation for music since my very early years. I started playing guitar when I was 8 years old, and still play in a band, at 60 years old. Music isn't what I do; it is a huge part of who I am and I love to share it with others. There are many ways to do that, but for many, music isn't a "spectator's activity"! They can't help themselves! Why watch live entertainment when you can participate? Karaoke is a great way to help others experience that feeling!

Have you considered hosting a karaoke party in your home? That's something I would never have considered, until I actually attended a couple of small parties (between 15-30 people) and experienced the fun, laughter, and new friends. During and after the party, people were saying "We need to do this again, soon". It turned into a quarterly event that attracted new people, and different people in the group would host each quarter, and lots of great memories and new relationships were created!
