Have you SPOTTED (pun absolutely intended) our youngest lesser spot-nosed guenon recently? Aside from developing that iconic heart-shaped spot on the nose, we have something to announce...

It's a boy, and his name is Rico! 🤩 🩶

He's been playing with siblings Pedro and Napoleon, and hanging with mom. Come stop by Primate Canyon and watch this energetic group together, and say hi to baby Rico. We apologise if you spend a couple of hours watching; we can't get enough!

Come waddle over to Penguin Palooza today! 🐧🎉

From 9:00am to 3:00pm, play games, learn about our penguins, and purchase penguin paintings! We will also have a drawing for a penguin encounter, open to those participating in the activities. 👀

All proceeds benefit SANCCOB, a registered nonprofit dedicated to reversing the decline of seabirds through the rehabilitation and release of ill, injured, and oiled birds, especially the African black-footed penguin, a species that calls our Zoo home.
