On this date, May 17, 1977, Memphis Police Officer Lamar Todd and his partner witnessed what they described as huge UFO hovering over the power lines near Pine Hill golf course. 3 other officers from other parts of the city reported the same thing, making it one of the most documented UFO sightings of the decade! It is also important to mention that The Klitz first got together and ELVIS PRESLEY died that year.

Also- I've talked about it on a few broadcasts. I play in a musical group, rock band, what have you, called TURNT. We were invited to play GONERFEST this year and seriously, that's pretty cool. I was also asked to write a few words in the program guide for the festival, so if you go, look for that. TURNT plays Sunday and it just so happens to be free that day. We go on at 2PM. Oh hell! I need to give an update. So, I am not with Historic Haunts anymore. I left about 6 weeks ago. In the bigger picture, I am a runner and training for the St. Jude half marathon. Giving tours was interfering with my training. I am still on WRMI, I just haven't been posting broadcasts. I will post the next one.

[Paranormal Update]

No sooner did I leave the tour company, when I got a message from a friend at Woodruff Fontaine House. She wanted input on potential activity in one part of the home. So, I went. And fell in love with the place. So, I am there a few times a month, usually on Sundays. As a result, I've gotten calls to investigate other addresses around town. And I will update when I can. I am going to another prominent site tomorrow and I am very excited about that.

Memphis is haunted as f**k.
