Olla testing! Hmmm….. comments, anyone? Suggestions? Words of advice?

We are all excited to be on our way and full of gratitude for everyone’s support. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY MUDDY HEART!!!

PS two critters seem to have been left behind - they’re still in my shop and I haven’t told them that they don’t have rides yet…. Eeeep!

These are ollas (OY-yuhhs). They get buried up to their eyes in the dirt and filled with water. Over time, the water is supposed to leach out of them into the soil and keep the surrounding plants watered. Do they work? Dunno.

For a muuuuuuch slower lesson, I’ll be Summer Ave Art & Clay from 1-5 pm on Saturday. There are a couple seats left, last I checked. Come play in the mud with me!

I’m trying some new things with thrown vessels - what if I let them get wrinkly? What if I added a reason for them to be wrinkly? Hmmm.
