Hey goners - we are clawing our way back to functional life after a truly wonderful weekend here in Memphis for GonerFest 22. What an amazing time. We've got all sorts of posts to make over the next week - but right now we've got some thanking to do!!

This thing could not have happened without our partners at Wiseacre Brewing Company - who went above and beyond as hosts for the first three days. Also the Overton Park Shell, who hosted the finale on Sunday. These are two Memphis treasures and we are thrilled to be working with them. We also have to thank Mempho Presents for sharing with us both infrastructure and knowledge -- GF22 was on a different level for planning, preparation and ex*****on, and we couldn't have done it without any of these three.

There are not enough good words to say about the team we had in place this year. From seasoned vets to rookies - everyone stepped up their game in big bold ways. Andrew (along with Edan and Dustin) made everything sound great, Sara Moseley's artwork was jaw dropping and somehow still managed to make a million social media posts, Sam ran band recon like a champ, DB was our swiss army knife, Dan dealt with the brass, Billups Allen held down the fort at the shop and the mic for the finale, and Dane managed an amazing group of volunteers between the merch, door and pop-up shop. It was truly awesome to see.

Stream! Best year yet! Thanks Brent as always for running it and Jeremy for stepping in to assist, Daniel on audio, Kristen for coordinating and everyone that grabbed a camera, made some edits, or directed and made some magic happen. You can still check out the footage at Gonerfest.com.

The collaboration between the Infinity Stairs team and Sara Moseley took stage graphics to a whole new level. Has anything like that ever been done? I dunno? I've never seen anything like it. Their work at the Shell on Sunday, in particular, was completely mind-blowing. Look out for more from both -- the sky's the limit.

Did I mention the music? Whoa what an insane batch of bands! From main stage shows to after-parties and everywhere in between - Memphis was one big RnR explosion for 4 days.

But most of all - thanks to everyone for coming. Every year this thing happens because you come. You come and see what's great about our city, and the larger Goner community. It's really just the best feeling to have everyone around for a long weekend.

Hope everyone got home safe - we're already working on GF23. Until then - we'll try and keep up with you with a barrage of emails and social posts keeping ya in the loop on what we are up to. Keep ordering records! Visit your local shops! Go see shows! We'll see ya again next September.

If you weren't able to attend in person this year, needed a brief disco nap at the air bnb, or just wanted to revisit a favorite set from the weekend, the live broadcast was there for you all day, every day! We'd like to take a moment to thank all the hardworking folks who made this incredible service possible for us. So many thanks to the best producer duo, Brent Shrewsbury and Jeremy Speakes - none of this would have happened if it weren't for you guys! Thank you to the directors who gave us the most interesting watching experience, Cole Early, Marcus Griffin, and John Pickle. Thank you to our incredible audio engineer who crushed it the entire weekend by himself! You rock Daniel Lynn! Graphics producer for the stream was none other than our art director, Sara Moseley.
