iRock! is a pioneering music program created by Ira Berman. In addition, iRock! iRock!

iRock!’s professional teachers provide a progressive, educational and real life experience that can only come from everyday, gigging musicians. iRock!’s model includes private, group and small band instruction from professionals whose resumes are equally impressive as both teachers and experienced musicians. However, there are several aspects that make iRock! stand out among other music performan

ce programs. Our instructors understand that the experience of learning music must be enjoyable for the students. As a result, we put our students musical interests before our own and use that as a vehicle for learning. Since our teachers are gigging musicians, we are able to provide real-life lessons about group performance, improvisation, and persistence. student bands will perform at an accredited New York City venue at the culmination of each program. has a unique partnership with summer camps and with this, we offer a unique summer music program. During the summer, iRock! recognizes that while children may have a great interest in learning how to play music, they also will naturally want to experience the outdoors. Through this partnership, we are able to provide the best in both a music education and the summer camp experience in one facility. From beginners to budding masters, this program offers a total experience for those enrolled.
