The Illustrated Xmas Sweater comes straight from the mind of Ashley Lauren Rogers. Thank you, Ashley, for sharing this story with all of us!

You can catch some inspiration for this tale in Ashley's holiday memory: It was either getting a Nintendo 64 (Because that was a game changer, let me tell you) or watching Stone Cold Steve Austin give Santa Claus a "Stone Cold Stunner". Ya see this particular Santa was being unSanta-like and mean to the kids so Austin came out to try and get Santa to apologize. When Santa refused Austin kicked him in his holly jolly gut snapped his body forwards and the rest is a holiday classic. I like to think all of the pieces in Illustrated Xmas Sweater have the "Steve Austin giving a Stone Cold Stunner to Santa Claus energy...

Kerry Moe Abramov takes on the roles of Susan, a young single mom looking to recapture her youth, and Brigid, a woman with a distrust for others and a habit of stealing.

Here's Kerry's favorite holiday tradition: Growing up Jewish our family had the tradition of going to the movies and getting Chinese food for dinner every Christmas. I've been able to share that tradition with my own family. Plus we get the additional 8 days of celebrating!

Philip Curcuru IV plays Teddy, a man grieving a friend over the holidays, and Elf, who has to grant the dark wish of a child on Christmas.

Philip's holiday memory highlights the excitement of new traditions: Family Yankee Swap, while the whole family wasn't able to get together due to COVID we decided to add it to our summer family camping trip and now do this twice a year!

Life comes with many unexpected missteps just like theatre and Allyson remembers one of those times all too well...

"My favorite holiday memory is when my cousin accidentally exposed that our "santa" was really his dad in front of everyone. Needless to say my aunt hired a professional santa from that point on."
