If you are planning on being part of the "Flash Mob" that the Dance Gallery will perform at the Victorian Fair on Sunday,September 7, there will be 3 rehearsals this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, August 26-28 from 6:30-7:30. You can text us at 781-535-2132 with any questions. Next weeks rehearsal schedule will be posted here on Monday, September 1.

Registration hours this week for our 2025-26 season are on August 26-28 from 4:30-6:30. You can also register on our website .dancegallerymelrose.com.

Hi Everyone,

As much as I hate to see the summer come to an end, I can't wait for the new dance season to begin. And to start it off we will be doing another Flash Mob. Last year we did "Thriller". this year we will be doing "Brand New Day" from the Wiz. Anyone and everyone can participate. Dancer, non-dancer, young, older, the more the better.

We will post the rehearsal schedule on this page on Mondays. The first rehearsal will be on Tuesday, August 26 from 6:30-7:30. Text me at 781-535-2132 if you would like to participate.

I will be in the studio on Saturday, August 23 from 11-2:00. Additional registration dates and hours will be posted on this page and our website www.dancegallerymelrose.com on Mondays.

We are excited about the coming dance season. Wanted highlight some classes that are available.

Baby Dance: Ages 2 to 2 years 11 months
Monday mornings 10-10:45
A fun and creative program that introduces the very young to Ballet and Tap through the use of songs, games, toys, musical instruments and stories in a fun and supportive environment. Mom's can participate!

Kinderdance: Saturdays from 9:15-10:15, Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30.
A 1 hour class consisting of 30 minutes each of Ballet and either Jazz or Tap. The class is designed to introduce the fundamentals of each style of dance focusing on basic technique and movement while reinforcing confidence and self expression.

Adult Classes: Belly Dance and Tap Classes
The Belly Dance class is both fun and highly expressive. It promotes balance, strength, digestion, coordination and confidence. So much fun for all levels. Woman only. So popular last season!
If you want to learn Tap as a beginner, or have had previous training, this is the perfect class. You'll feel like a Broadway dancer in no time while learning fun rhythms and combinations.

We are so happy to announce the start of our 50th Season.
We have had thousands come to our happy place for dance classes and we could't imagine celebrating our anniversary without inviting as many current and former dancers, and their families, to do a performance with the original choreography to the iconic song " "Thriller".

Please share this and spread the word. First class is Wednesday, July 24 at 6:30 at the Dance Gallery. We are located at 523 Franklin Street, Melrose on the 2nd floor.

Our 49th dance recital is on Saturday, June 8 at Memorial Hall, 590 Main Street, Melrose. This never gets old! We are all very excited to perform tomorrow.

We want all of our dancers to know how proud we are of them. This performance is the result of 36 weeks of dance classes and a lot of hard work. You are all amazing. Break a leg!

Tickets are available at the door. Performance starts at 2pm.

Today we celebrated my son Christian's 30th birthday. I am so proud of you my son. Not just for all that you have accomplished but, most importantly, for the kind of person that you are, beautiful inside and out. A loving son, caring and devoted husband and a loyal and giving friend. You take nothing for granted and appreciate all that you have. You bring happiness into every life you touch. You are my joy. Happy Birthday my dear boy. I could not love you more!
