Tonight at 6 pm - Please register to attend the virtual community forum to hear from one of the two finalists for the Director of Visual and Performing Arts position. The other forum is Thursday at 6 pm. You can submit questions through the attached Google form. We hope you can tune in for this important meeting.

The Melrose Public Schools is proud to announce two finalists for our new part-time Director of Visual and Performing Arts position, Steve Black and David Peter Kaminski.
The Melrose community is invited to virtually meet each candidate on Tuesday, July 6, and Thursday, July 8. Both community forums will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. If you plan to participate, please complete this form (https://forms.gle/86GMTW8e8qCVa3hH6) to receive the information and a link to access the forum. We will email you the virtual meeting link directly on the morning of the event(s) you plan to attend.
Steve Black will be with us on Tuesday, July 6, at 6:00 PM. Steve is currently the interim assistant principal at Saugus Middle School and also served in the same role at Everett High School. For several years, Steve was a chorus and theater teacher in Saugus. In addition to his experience as a chorus and general music teacher, Steve has also served as a director in various local theater companies.
David Peter Kaminski will be with us Thursday, July 8 at 6:00 PM. Since 2009, he has served as the music coordinator and the band director in the Mansfield Public Schools. David also served as the director of music in Georgetown Public Schools for several years and has other experiences teaching music and band.
