Join me for a Riverview Remembered presentation Tuesday Sept 2 at 9:00 am. The world’s largest amusement park was right here in the city of Chicago. Join me for a fun presentation with lots of pictures and stories about this amazing park that opened in 1904. Relive the past with historian, Cheryl Brown, as she explains the rides and attractions: Aladdin’s Castle Fun House, the Bobs, Shoot the Chutes, Flying Turns, Pair-o-chutes, freak show and more. Learn about the long and amazing history of the park and the sudden closing in 1967. Admission is $3 which includes coffee & pastries at 8:30am.
