It is with sadness we report the passing of Charles Clemente, a longtime member of the Florida Tech Board of Trustees whose generosity led to the construction of the 58,000-square-foot Charles and Ruth Clemente Center, an athletics, fitness and wellness facility that has shaped, and will continue to shape, the university experience of countless Panthers. Mr. Clemente passed away Sunday, Feb. 14. He was 85.

"We are so thankful for the time we got to spend with him, and for his everlasting impact on our university. Mary Helen and I send our deepest condolences to his family." —President Dwayne McCay.
