OK, I understand everyone being upset. I have posted constantly in that past of needing funding and responses were slim. Unfortunately, this year I have been closing down a business and have had little time to do everything for the parade. It has generally been one person doing most of the work up until the 2-3weeks before the parade and it has been that way mostly since 1999. I really appreciate the people that do help. ♥ This year along with me closing a business, my VP is unavailable do to medical reasons. I have someone trying to find sponsors and have asked up 100 companies with very little positive response. We have received 1 participation registration so far as well. I haven given the City a deadline of Nov 1 to cancel the parade if the funding is not reached. All of you that are putting your 2 cents in about how poorly everything is done, please step up and volunteer. Anyone wanting to do the footwork and find sponsors, the forms are located on the parade website. If you are interested in volunteering please message the page and I will add you to the list, :) Thank you for everyone's support .
