We’ve missed this face! 😂

Well… all of Holly’s faces, really. 😳🤨😏😱😂

After her run in Nine at Melbourne Civic Theatre, Holly Dyer is BACK on the Funky Dog stage tonight! 🎉

We’ve missed Holly, we’ve missed her energy, and we have definitely missed the approximately 147 facial expressions she can produce in a single improv scene. 😂

Come help us welcome her back TONIGHT at Fun & Games, where all of our fabulous players will be making up an entire night of ridiculousness right before your eyes! 🐶

🎟️ Tickets are still available at funkydogfl.com

When Pam finds out you don’t have plans tomorrow night… 😨

Holly & Holly: 😏 “Oh good. We can fix that.”

There are still seats available at Funky Dog Improv tomorrow night!

Crisis averted. 😂

The first week of school is officially OVER.

The alarms. The lunches. The drop-offs. The pick-ups. The forms. The sudden realization at 9:47 PM that somebody needs poster board tomorrow.

Parents everywhere right now:

gestures broadly at whatever the hell Kraz is doing in this video

😂😂😂

You survived. The kids survived. Celebrate accordingly.

Come spend your Saturday night laughing with us at Funky Dog Improv!

“YOU’RE GOING TO WAIT UNTIL THEY’RE GONE?!”

— Aaron, moments after hearing someone say, “I’ll buy tickets later.”

😄 We still have a handful of tickets left for tonight’s Fun & Games show…

Don’t wait until “later” becomes “too late.”

What do you mean it’s only Tuesday?! 😳🗓️

Improv reminder for the week:

Don’t play the scene in your head. Play the scene you’re actually in. 🎭

It’s easy to jump ahead, overthink, predict, panic, spiral, mentally pack a suitcase and flee the country. Classic Tuesday behavior. ✈️😂

But in improv, your job is to stay present. Listen to your scene partner. Notice what’s happening. Respond honestly.

Turns out, that works pretty well offstage too. 🙃

So here’s your Tuesday guideline from us:
Stay in the moment. The next moment will show up when it gets here. ✨

Only a handful of tickets left for tonight’s show, Long Story Short! 🎟️

Unlike our short-form games, Long Story Short isn’t built from audience suggestions. It’s a fully improvised story created by the cast, moment by moment. ✨

No script. No safety net. Just characters, chaos, callbacks, and bold choices we all have to live with. 😅🤷‍♀️

This is our only show this weekend, so there will be no Fun & Games show tomorrow night.

Fun & Games will be back next Saturday, but tonight belongs to the long story. 🐾

Something longer this way comes… 👀✨

We’ve been back in the rehearsal room working on bringing longform improv back to the Funky Dog stage! 🎭🐾 Unlike short-form games, longform improv unfolds as one larger improvised story, with characters, relationships, and connections building as the scene goes on. No script. No safety net. Just a whole lot of trust, discovery, and “well, I guess this is happening now.” 😄👏

You can see it for yourself at our brand-new show:

Honestly, we don’t have a witty caption for this.
We just really wanted the opportunity to publicly share this aggressively unflattering photo of Holly and Kraz. 😂🎭📸

Anyway.
LIVE improv comedy returns tonight at Funky Dog and somehow the photos only get worse from here. 🤷🏻‍♀️🐶✨
