I have not done an update in almost 2 years. Life is pretty good. I'm working 3 days a week at Rozzi's beauty salon. I do mostly nails and pedicures, some hair. My back pain does not allow me to do alot of hair. Our move to the main street salon has been great. The atmosphere is happy and fun, we have a great team. Lyle is feeding for Chris and Tim Collins again. There have been quite a few life changes since my last post. But for the most part we are enjoying this thing we call life.

Just a quik update:
I had bilateral veinogram on June 3rd. Some of the instructions slipped thru the cracks. So instead of 48 hrs downtime and 2 weeks not lifting anything over 10 lbs and if traveling get out and walk every hour, we need to add needing compression socks or leggings for quite some time, but immediate after procedure. Also no real traveling for a couple of weeks. Well we camped and during the drive I did walk close to every hour, with no compression socks and traveling my legs up thru my butt swelled pretty bad. Then that caused blood to pool in my calves and ankles. That bruising is very painful and it looks horrible. In the midst of this my Scooter went almost all the way blind, we were in a little space and he was leashed quite a bit camping so we did not know really how bad it was. We got home and he is so lost and having to learn the layout of the house and we all are learning how to navigate this change. He struggles with it but not as much as lyle and I, I'm pretty sure. His reflexes are like when that are a baby so when you pick him up and set him down he flayuals all around.
Yesterday I had significantly more pain in my left calf, so we ended up at ER getting checked for blood clots. The ultra sound of groin to just below knee level looked good, swelling but no clots. My d-dimer blood test is over the normal limit but not significantly high. I had already talked to vein dr and he scheduled me for a bilateral full leg ultrasound and an appointment with him. I did find some leggings that I had that do offer some compression and will be getting better ones tomorrow. Please say a prayer that we can relive this issue and no blood clots and if there is they will absorb quickly and no more complications. As lyle and Tia and my parents that they will not have to worry so much about me. And for Tia as she gets ready to have a fun adventure, if it did not involve riding in a vehicle for a week or so I'd sneak in her jeep and go with her! have not felt good and am exhausted, I had a upchuck tummy for one night camping.
We were by flaming gorge at Greens Lake campground and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Then week went thru Browns Park and stayed 2 nights at Gates of Ladore. I have not been able to create any art during this time frame and have been getting laundry washed and put up. Thanks for reading my thoughts! The support is amazing!
Prayers for Jimmy Burkes family, we were devastated to here that he passed away. 😢

Mother's day is Sunday. We honor these wonderful humans that gave a us life and structure. I'm so thankful of my mom, Rosemary, my birthmom, Mickey and my mother of my heart, Penny! I'm very blessed these 3 women love me like they do!
Happy mothers day to all you mama's out there, keep shining!

I am certainly feeling better than before surgery! Please pray the nerve pain never returns!! I did have a stomach bug that went to respiratory last week.. Lyle got it yesterday. Could be why at 10 days out from surgery I was so tired. I did paint yesterday and today. I love creating art.
If you ever see me post something you would like to buy let me know. Or if you want something else painted or created with pastels let me know!!

I have not created anything in the last couple of weeks. Last week the 12th I had a chest wall tumor removed, they used scope and incision to get to the little bu**er. It was a Schwannoma, a tumor with Schwan cells. They can continue to grow and become malignant, so I'm very thankful I had it removed. I'm just working on healing and recouping, having surgery just gets harder the older I get lol. Thank you for all your support!!! The picture was my night time view over Denver! It was so pretty.

I'm working on a secret project, I'll post when I get it done and delivered. I'm glad I still get to create art. I miss working at the shop, hopefully getting my chest wall tumor removed April 12th. I hope it is just a beneign tumor and that ribs, muscles and nerve heal correctly!! I've done all testing except a breathing test at pulminary Dr on Tues. And if that goes well I'm cleared. So I am trying to get house organized, I'm not going to lie, I have a hard time getting organized. I am looking forward to being in the wild and be able to enjoy the water and green! I'm on a prednisone burst for a respiratory bug that is making me wheeze pretty bad.
The zooming energy prednisone gives you is wow. First day just felt anxious and mad, also just felt like yuk... today, holy buckets, I got quite a few things done and managed to not do some book work that needs done!
I do have some new art pieces, today was just fun and I needed projects that did not need alot of patience!

Hi everyone! I have changed the Swanky’s page for our arts and crafts! Lyle does some iron art and custom birdhouses, I help with birdhouses. I create art, mediums used are Acrylic, Watercolor, Soft Pastels. I also do a little sewing.
Tia creates art also. I will get back with you on her mediums that she uses.
I will try to be good at updating the art pieces. I hope you all will stick around this page and see what we create. If you are interested in anything that has been done please message me.
