“Although I’ve only spent a year at Oui it truly feels like a second home. After my previous studio unexpectedly closed, I just wanted to find a place to finish out my last year of studio dance. What I didn’t know was that I would find a forever home that would change me for the better as both a dancer and person, along with people I now couldn’t imagine my life without.
Last summer, after trying multiple studios, I decided to take a class at Oui. From the moment I learned the Beyoncé combo with Miss Carly (that would eventually become Grown Woman 😍), I knew Oui was where I was meant to be. Over this past year, I’ve met the most amazing friends and made memories I’ll always hold close.
The girls and the entire Oui staff welcomed me as their own and have supported me through everything - dance, college, and life. Miss Carly has truly changed me as a dancer. I will always be thankful for her love, guidance, and unwaivering faith in me. I truly do not know where I would be without her. Although only spending a short time here, Oui has left a lasting impact on me. I am leaving as a stronger and more confident dancer, a better person, and with a family I know I can rely on forever. I’ll always be grateful for everything this past year has given me.
As I look ahead to next year, I am excited to attend Assumption University as a nursing major! I will also be continuing dance on their Division ll dance team!!
