Medina RC Raceway

Medina RC Raceway Medina RC Raceway is a club level off-road track providing fun and competition for novice, intermediate, and pro drivers. Fridays- open at 5, race at 7. Classes.

The track is open throughout the week however electricity and water are only on for races. Races are held on Friday or Saturday depending on weather. We will make the call as early in the week as possible but last minute changes are possible due to Ohio weather. Check this FB page prior to heading out. Sat- open at 10, race at 12. Novice- any 1/10 or 1/8 electric rc. Transponder (scoring device) n

ot required.

2wd- Buggy & Truck. 2s, open motor. May combine or split

4wd- SCT, Buggy, Truggy. 2s
May combine or split

1/8 E-bug- pro, sportsman, plus 40, schoolboy. May combine or split.

1/8 Nitro Buggy- open motor but .21 is the standard.

1/8 Truggy- electric and nitro. May combine or split. Monster Truck- open motor. 1/10, 1/8, 1/7. No 1/5 scale. No transponder required. Transponders used will be 2 or 3 wire AMB style. Not required to race but required if you’d like to see printed lap times. House transponders not available . Don’t get hung up on class rules. There is a class to race for just about every kind of rc. Marshaling. After your race you are required to marshal the next race. Come down from the stand and “ IMMEDIATELY” head out to marshal. We want to keep a smooth and quick race program going on. Stick to the RC code. Marshal others the way you want to be marshaled! There is plenty of room to pit. Charge batteries from your car or from provided power cords. Bring your own table, tent and chairs. Pit lane is “IDLE SPEED” for rc & full size cars and trucks. Safety for all drivers and spectators. Cost for Racing

New layout is grooving in and tightening up. Really cool layout and some BIG senders for the airborne jump junkies. Creekside triple is the option jump, shaves some time but not a B-mainer jump 100% of the time. Double in, single out is the safe option but uuuuh....full send looks so cool. And the cross-over is so awesome. Hearing tires scrub on the under-pass, then flying barely over on the over jump... It's just cool. Temps look to be ideal for FNL. Come out and enjoy the RC evening and still have your entire weekend free for whatever.

New layout is really cool. Guys took to it well. Lap times about the same , maybe a touch faster. Creekside triple is a sender. If ya don't feel it at the corner, lay-up and double in, single out. And sweep left onto straight away is tricky too. Come out and test your skills on the new track, you'll like it!
