My fellow potters and I are hosting a “12 Bowls of Giving” event. We’ll be auctioning off a number of handmade, wheel thrown bowls in a variety of styles to raise money for local food shelves and draw attention to the problem of food insecurity in our country.

It has been nearly 2.5 months since I’ve posted here. In my day job, I am a geriatric nurse practitioner, and since COVID began affecting our nursing homes I’ve been swamped with that and basically dropped this little hobby of mine.

Today, it dawned on me I have not commented here about the death of George Floyd.

Black Lives Matter and may justice and peace soon be found.
