I thought I should let everyone who might see this page know about some changes I am making. The basement of the building at 225 N. Main Street in Medicine Lodge is still my ceramics studio, but the main floor is being morphed into more of a showroom for my own work. I will still offer "non-ceramic" items that can be customized or personalized with the laser, but I am abandoning the Maker Mercantile name and just operating under ES Clayworks. Having two businesses in one building was unnecessarily complex and I would like to simplify! This will also -- hopefully -- allow more time for my own creative work in clay.
Some repairs have been done on the building, and more need to be done, including a new front door. Currently the front door does not open, which makes it pretty difficult to be open to the public! đŸ˜„ When the work is done, I will likely still just be open by appointment and for special events. I have really appreciated all of the support and business I have received in the past and look forward to continuing to offer items for unique gift-giving and ceramic art.
