She was a commission order. We went through about 10 sketches back and forth, until final one was picked.
So this sculpture was created, to celebrate and personify the concept of "Mother". To me, "Mother" represents nature, fertility, compassion, sacrifice, creation, and even destruction. She embodies the bounties of the earth, and the cycle of life. I call this project "Woman with a Bird".

This morning, instead of frantically running through the stores and getting last minute gifts, we had a lazy morning, and kids and I made a silly movie. Script is by 8 and 9 years old. Girls were insisting on boy kissing the girl. I used my parent authority and kept it rated G. 700 frames! No joke. I hope my talented Insta friends don’t mind their pieces to be a characters in the movie.Happy holidays!!
