Celebrity Museums Celebrating entertainment's greatest leaders, legends, & icons! Lectures Every Monday, 10 AM EST!

For over 45 years we bring history to life by telling the stories BEHIND the story & creating programs that emotionally engage audiences. Adjunct Professor, award-winning playwright, and public speaker, Sal St. George, is committed to keeping the memories of America’s Greatest Leaders, Legends, and Icons alive through interactive biographical stage productions, thoroughly researched lectures, and

Virtual Road Trips to Celebrity Museums around the world. Sal's one-act play, The Spy Next Door, was critically and commercially received. The dramatic tale depicts the harrowing adventures of the George Washington Spy Ring on Long Island. Sal was commissioned by the Town of Smithtown, NY to create a one-act play, The Spirit of Smithtown, to celebrate its 350th anniversary. His award-winning play, Running Scared, Running Free, is an unflinching examination of the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850 and its effects on slavery and the Underground Railroad. The drama I Am Not a Savage!, developed for an NGO affiliated with the United Nations details the lives of Indigenous People and the horrors inflicted upon them by the arrival of Christopher Columbus’ colonization in 1492. Sal was the Creative Director for the Charles Dickens Festival in Port Jefferson, NY for nearly ten years and continues to be the Creative Director for the Town of Riverhead’s annual Edgar Allan Poe Festival. Through a fortunate personal association with classic comedy straight man, Bud Abbott, Sal has chronicled the work and history of funny men Abbott and Costello from a first-hand perspective. He is widely considered an expert on their careers and explores their distinctly American contributions to comedy. As a historical playwright, Sal has researched, written, and directed countless original and inventive programs for national and local clients, including museums, planetariums, zoos, and historic sites. Each program is site-specific and developed in close association with the client’s educational staff. As a comedy writer, director, producer, and entertainer, Sal St. George has entertained the masses with his quick wit and stylish humor. His main stage theme park productions have been viewed by hundreds of thousands of visitors at Walt Disney World, Busch Gardens Virginia and Florida, Branson MO, and Sea World San Antonio and San Diego. As a pop culture historian and Adjunct Professor, Sal is in demand for speaking engagements on the subject of Classic American Comedy, 20th Century Pop Culture, and Motion Picture history.
