It is with the heaviest of hearts that we pass on the news of the passing of Harran Williams. He was an outstanding drummer in the pit for many of our shows, and having him as part of our Pinelands family is something none of us would trade. Everyone who talked with him couldn’t help but feel his loving and kind soul. Please contribute what you can in his memory to help out his wife and 3 adorable children in their time of need.

Normally the second weekend in August marks opening night for our summer all-ages show. We are missing our Pinelands family and can’t wait to play again soon!

We are very sad to announce that Pineland Players will not be presenting our 2020 summer production. We had been anxiously awaiting April 1st so that we could finally share the wonderful news that we had obtained the rights to Matilda. Instead, we were suddenly faced with this unprecedented situation.
We put off making a decision so we could monitor the most current Covid 19 news but after much deliberation we feel that we would be jeopardizing the safety of our members and our staff if we were to move forward as planned. We will not risk the health of anyone in our Pinelands family. We cannot do a change of dates at this time due to the fact that MTI, who holds our theatrical license, is closed and no venues are accepting any rentals of performance space.
We will continue to follow the latest advice from the medical experts and will give updates on our plans as things evolve.
We will miss spending all those hours with our theatre family – laughing together through the blocking, struggling to learn the harmonies, mastering the dances, sharing lunch from Wawa around the pool, and even the copious sweat! This summer the studio may be empty, but the Pinelands family will be together in spirit.
Stay safe and stay strong until we can be together again!
