Last Friday Dances The Last Friday Dance is working to create a wholesome venue for people of all ages to learn and love dancing. Fun for everyone!

Our monthly dances are family friendly, good fun, and free! Along with door prizes, fun themes, and yummy snacks. The Last Friday Dances began in 2015 when a group of teenagers took on couples dance lessons from a local teacher. They soon discovered that there where very few venues to take their new found talents. So they began having monthly dances at the Chelsea Town hall just for practice and f

un. They quickly turned into an evening of fun, learning, and sharing for many local people. They DJ popular music from all era's and genres. The hall is decorated by these teens families each month with a different theme. They ask everyone to bring a dish of food to share for the evening. Selling soda and waters help fund the products needed to keep the dances going. Entrance is free for all, but there is also a good will donation at the door for those capable of helping with the cost to run the dances. Funds that exceed our needs go to improvements to the town hall facility for use of it. This last summer we finished the wood flooring to keep the dance floor beautiful and protected. Dances are held every last Friday of each month, 7pm-midnight
All dancers, learners, and watchers are welcome! No prerequisite of knowing how to dance required! Just ask someone and they will be happy to teach you!
