“The Neon Tree”

Final artwork of 2025! A black leafless tree with freeform branches and silver lining. Splitting the backdrop of the tree in half, I used a warm color scheme for the left side and a cool color scheme for the right side. Thus, creating some complimentary contrast. Materials used include black marker, dual-tip brush pens, and silver colored pencil.

“Mummies - Movements I - IV”

Dual-tip brush pens and black marker

This movement of artworks I made is rather obscure and unusual for my standard style, but I wanted to try something different - something mysterious and macabre.

When I was 14, my father took me to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia to see the mummy exhibit. Despite my apprehension in the beginning, I ended up finding it strangely fascinating. The mummies on display came from beyond Egypt - in fact they came from almost every continent. When looking up images for these pieces, I ended up reuniting with some of the mummies I had seen at the museum - most of them originating in South America. Included are the following individual movements:

- Movement I: Adult Female
- Movement II: Adult Male
- Movement III: Child
- Movement IV: Baboon
