Do gray skies create a sense of sadness or a cozy feeling for you? Growing up on the North Coast of California, cloudy skies were a regular occurrence. While sunshine is my favorite, overcast days still bring a sense of calm and familiarity that feels like a safety blanket. This understated 8x10 piece from the Mist Collection was inspired by those days of solid cloud cover that make you feel like you're wrapped up in a warm blanket. I had these pretty trimmings hanging around from the Mini Hearts collection last month and wanted to find a way to create more art with them instead of just throwing them away. The result: an experiment that seems to be working out wonderfully! I'm so excited with how these layered rose pieces are coming along.😍 Follow me to see the finished pieces!

Have you ever felt like you wanted to simplify? Strip things down to the bones and rebuild? Like winter, this simple, neutral collection is a reminder of the serenity found in clearing out the old and embracing rest and reflection. New growth and abundance can only come into our lives when there is space for it. ✨️🖤🩶🤍

For this collection, I'm thinking of releasing it in two parts, the first being the smaller paintings (up to 12x16s) and the round pieces, and then a second release for the larger pieces. (16x20 and up) And as usual, my email list will get first access to the collection, so make sure to subscribe if you'd like first dibs.🥰
