It’s that time of year. The crew is at work. Mike Kingma is cleaning and winterizing vehicles. Tammy is doing inventory and cleaning. Maggie is draining the grease and also cleaning. It takes about 2 weeks to get all the cars, equipment, batteries, water lines, pond pumps, restaurant equipment all ready for winter. Linda and Joe just got here for more helpers. It was the worst year for weather….it rained 14 times this year on Friday night or Saturday to mess up the track which made for an exhausting year. I feel like Mother Nature beat us up pretty bad and I’ve never been happy about losing the 26th Annual Firecracker 50 this year. This years July 4th was actually on Saturday and it was Americas 250th Birthday. We will make up this race next year. We will have (2) Firecracker 50s on separate dates in 2027! O.k. Back to work.

Hi everyone, here is the latest. It’s Tuesday 11:00 a.m. The track finally dried up Sunday evening. We plan on racing this Saturday October 3rd. The 4-Banger division(s), Bombers & Modifieds will race. With other tracks also having big events, The Mystery 100 modified race may be rescheduled. If so the Modifieds will race a normal show this Saturday night. We are 5 Modified drivers short of making the field for The Mystery 100. So if you plan on running and haven’t already pm us, please do. We will keep you updated. Thanks!

Mystery 100 Update:

We are looking at next Saturday October 3rd. We realize that there are other races that day. If you are a modified driver and plan on racing the 10th Annual Mystery 100, please PM this page. All lap prize money, sponsors and bonuses are still up for grabs!! The race day line up remains the same.

We are very sad to announce that we have to cancel tomorrow’s races for Saturday September 26th.

Unfortunately, the track is simply too wet underneath and it just isn’t drying out enough to give us the racing surface we need. The weather conditions here in Indiana have been unfavorable for far too long, and despite our best efforts, Mother Nature has not given us the break we needed.

We know how disappointing this is for our racers, teams, fans, and everyone who has been looking forward to tomorrow. This is not a decision we wanted to make, but the track conditions leave us with no other choice.
