Together, we raised an amazing $1200 for the Mechanicsburg Cross Country Team! These candles are all being delivered today and we are so excited!

šŸŒ§ļø A Little Rain Check for Pumpkin Fest! šŸŽƒ

Unfortunately, with the rain today, we wonā€™t be attending Pumpkin Fest. As disappointed as we are to miss today, weā€™re choosing to look at the bright side and enjoy a little unexpected family time. ā¤ļø

But first, we have to say a HUGE, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone we met yesterday! šŸ„¹ Yesterday was a reminder of why we love doing what we do. Yes, we love making candles, but itā€™s the connections we make along the way that mean so much to us. Getting to chat with so many amazing people, hear your stories, share a few laughs, and introduce you to Slate River Candles made for the BEST day. The weather couldnā€™t have been more beautiful, and it truly was such a wonderful event!

Today, weā€™re going to take advantage of this rainy day to slow down and spend some much-needed time with our daughter who came home from college. šŸ”šŸ’• And then itā€™s back to the studio as we regroup, restock, and get ready for next weekā€™s Dillsburg Farmers Fair!

Thank you for continuing to support our little family business, for stopping by our booth, and for making what we do about so much more than candles. We appreciate every single one of you more than you know!

Iā€™m a lifelong Mechanicsburg, PA native and a proud graduate of Shippensburg University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

If you are wanting to get your hands on a pumpkin candle without the wait and have your pick of the cropā€¦.come see us this weekend!

Tomorrow evening is going to be epic!! This event runs from 4-9 at Winding Hills Park in Upper Allen/Mechanicsburg on Fri. Sept. 25th!

Tons of stuff to check out and make sure you come hungry! Lots for the kiddos to do as well and live music!

We hope to see you there!

And then Saturday all day from 9-4, we will be at Borough Park in New Cumberland for the ANNUAL APPLE FESTIVAL- one of the largest in the area!
