Calling all artists/makers/creators!

Our Spring Makers Market is right around the corner. We are accepting applications if you would like to join us for a fun day of shopping small business. We will host 15 local vendors plus a food truck and more! This event is inside and outside our studio in historic downtown Mechanicsburg and is rain or shine. Sunday March 24 from 10-3p.

Sunday Nov. 12th from 10-4p at Creative Grounds Studio located at 36 W. Main St. Mechanicsburg. Vendors will be located both upstairs in our studio and out back in our parking lot.

Did you ever take a look around your office or work space and think, "I really need to clear some of this stuff out of here to think."?

I was working in my art studio the other day and I was tripping over finished pieces of art, I couldn't find anything I was looking for, and felt so overwhelmed by it all. I took a good look around and noticed that my finished pieces were closing in on my work space with a vengeance. It's hard to let go of things that hold a piece of your soul or a memory, but it's healthy to make room for the new.

That's when I had the idea for a studio clean out sale/art exhibit. It's been forever since I've showcased my fluid art collection, and I need to make room for new collections of art.
So I will be having an art exhibition at Creative Grounds the whole month of October to feature my fluid artworks. They will all be for sale at the lowest prices I've ever had. It's my way of thanking you for all your support over the years and to encourage new growth.

We will be hosting a public sale and reception on Oct. 19th from 5-8. Stop by, grab a glass of wine, and shop.

Now that the dust has settled.
I had such an amazing experience at the Lititz Fine Art Show. It was so well organized and the other artists there were incredible. It was so refreshing and encouraging to be surrounded by so much talent. This was my first juried event and going in, I was a bit nervous, but the community who came out quickly calmed those nerves with so much support! As a creative, impostor syndrome is a real battle. This was the validation and reminder that I needed. No one will believe in us unless we believe in ourselves first. Thank you to my wonderful husband and daughter for all their support! I truly couldn’t do this with them (I mean this stuff is heavy, ha!) JK, their support means the world to me.
A special thanks to all my artist neighbors for their warm welcome and laughter throughout the day, and to all who came out to support local artists!
