Our 44th season finished with a memorable benefit event thanks to spectacular artistry of Nina Bernat, warm atmosphere of Art Museum, excellent food from P's in a Pot, as well as delicious desserts and gorgeous flowers provided by our Board members and volunteers. We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, host committees, volunteers and all the guests who came to support Market Square Concerts!

Thursday night, the final concert of the regular season, features the Cuarteto Latinoamericano at Temple Ohev Sholom at 7:30. Their program is entitled "Tribute to the Americas" with works by well-known composers from both North and South America. In this edition of the blog, you'll be able to hear each of the works and find out more about many of the influences that helped to create what we call "American Music."

One week from today, Cuarteto Latinoamericano concludes our 25–26 Season with a celebration of American music with compositions by Barber, Villa-Lobos, Piazzolla, Gershwin, and Dvořák’s beloved “American” string quartet. In two weeks, Market Square Concerts welcomes the venerable Cuarteto Latinoamericano to Temple Ohev Sholom for a concert celebrating the Americas, with pieces by Barber, Gershwin, Dvořák, and more! This will be our last concert of the 25–26 season, as well as one of the groups last performances after 43 years together.
