Squeezing in some morning knitting…. I am currently 3 repeats in of the 13 for the Photography Shawl. Mine looks quite different from the one that Haley posted yesterday. I am using WYS Morris, a 100% DK British Wool. As you can tell, it is a tad bit fuzzier than the Merino 401 that Haley is using…that’s the difference between a pure wool vs. 100% extra fine Merino. Nonetheless, this shawl is working up beautifully, and I am excited for the KAL to begin. Haley and I will both be ready to help you as you begin yours! Do you have your yarn picked out yet?

Haley 1 has gotten a head-start on the October KAL, just to make sure she can answer questions if/when y'all encounter them...

But guys. Look at the texture this yarn is giving. It's *phenomenal.*

This is the Merino 401. They're half-skeins, 50 grams and 108 yards is $10.50. This would be so pretty for just about anything; scarves, shawls, those thick cabled Aran sweaters...

It's super plush and squishy, very soft, and although it looks like it's going to be splitty, it isn't in the least. (Others who have worked with it agree with me!)

We have tons of colors in the shop in this yarn. Come in and get what you need while you still have all the color options to pick from!

we've got a slew of gorgeous projects to share with you today!!

Sarah J finished her Low Tide sweater. It's a perfect fit, and she is thrilled with it. Great job, Sarah!

Haley 2 (Ditto) finished YET ANOTHER gorgeous shawl (rumor has it she's started another one). This is the Pure Joy shawl, and it is absolutely gorgeous. She used a hand-dyed she got from a festival, plus the Wonderland (the teal). She also finished a Lead and Light cowl with some modifications (churned the thing out in a weekend). Isn't it beautiful?

Marietta designed this incredible cape/snood for her husband. It is her design, and her yarn! It's SUPER COOL.

Mary Telander has a Lead and Light headband she's finished, and she finished Stunning, the 15-year anniversary shawl that Haley 1 designed.

OK Twisted Community. Haley (Prime) here, asking a question.

How do we feel about community cookbooks? You know, the old ones that churches or elementary schools used to do... And would y'all be interested in participating in creating a Twisted Cookbook?

Our reasoning behind this... we love our community, and it's one of the things that makes this shop so different from other shops. People are always here hanging out, always sharing recipes and food, always bringing in treats... What better way to bring us together?
