We had a great time at the Allegheny College Student Involvement Fair yesterday. Thank you for the invite and for hosting such a fun and helpful event!

It was a perfect summer evening filled with lots of new connections and opportunities for student involvement. Best wishes for a wonderful start to the new semester!

Friends! Wow, just wow. Thank you so very much to every single person who gave in support of our goal.

We can’t wait to begin offering even more access to our programs and services to local families. It’s all because of your generosity!

⭐️Friday 8/28 - August’s Community Free Play Day sponsored by Hello Sunshine Children's Boutique is fully booked - we won’t be able to take any walk-ins this day!

👋🏼Oh hi! It’s your friends, Beth and Nicole, from Raising Wonder to say, “Yay! Crawford Gives is officially here!”

🤩But, we’re sorry, WHAT?! Instead, we’re needing to say “You all are just incredible!!!” and “Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!”

Because of YOUR generosity, we have already surpassed our fundraising goal within just the first day of this three day giving event.

Because of YOUR generosity, over 20 local families will get access to our space and services that might not otherwise have had the chance.

❤️Any donations raised above and beyond our initially stated goal will continue to be added to our “Connection for All” fund, which will give us the flexibility to give to even more families in even more ways.

Crawford Gives is still going strong through tomorrow, and there are LOTS of just amazing nonprofits on there. So let’s keep this party going for our sweet county!

Raising tiny humans is a lot of hard work & we deeply believe in the profound importance of community at the Raising Wonder Foundation. A community-centric lifestyle is at the heart of our foundation, where we believe that life is ultimately better lived out in the context of meaningful connections.

When you arrive, you will sign in at the front desk. Pre-registration is required. Kids 18 months and older, will go into the playspace area with a clearanced volunteer for supervised play.

Infants 18 months and under will stay with moms and have access to some infant-appropriate activities and our sensory friendly space.

We will provide coffee and creamer and there will be a volunteer snack sign-up each meeting for those who would enjoy bringing something.

We discuss any and all motherhood related topics in our mom groups. Our desire is to provide a safe space for moms to build friendships, find relatable connections with others, and be encouraged and empowered as caregivers. We intentionally avoid comparison, offering unsolicited medical advice, gossip and potentially polarizing topics like politics.

Our group is not a place to sales pitch your personal businesses and side hustles - feel free to do that with your friends at another time.

Our mom gatherings are nonjudgmental spaces cultivated to celebrate each other, make space for different parenting styles, and offer practical support and encouragement for the adventure of motherhood.

*Note: Each session is a flat rate of $10 per mother and child(ren) family bundle. ☺️ We’re going to work on the booking form to ensure the price doesn’t increase when putting in the number of participants. Please do say how many participants are coming though to help us keep track of capacity numbers. (A mom and two children = 3 participants) Thank you!

So, what do these sweet little scenes after closing mean?

They mean someone was imagining.
Someone was experimenting.
Someone was practicing.
Someone was solving problems.
Someone was making sense of their world.
And, best of all, someone had a grown-up nearby who entered that world with them.

The stuff we did, the thing we leave behind, that’s often the evidence that meaningful play happened here. ❤️

Announcing our September Community Free Play Day! We are so grateful to the FCCA for many things, and this is just the latest!

They have graciously agreed to sponsor our free play day on Friday September 25th. The last two Community Free Play Days (July and August) filled up fast, so be sure to reserve your spot if you’d like to join us in September.
