A storage space by the box office (most recently Brockman Insurance) is going to be transformed into MORE RESTROOMS. 🚽 Work is expected to begin in early July, and the hope is to have the new facilities available by A CHRISTMAS STORY in December. 🙏
To celebrate, we're putting together a digital scrapbook that illustrates what makes the Academy's home at 275 Chestnut Street special to us! Knowing what our community values in our building will be helpful for the people making the building more comfortable--and more watertight. And I think it will be fun to see everyone's contributions. :)

🎨: The picture of the auditorium (and its lovingly rendered icons, like the carved rosettes & groovy seats 🥲) is signed P. Maruska, 1997. I do not know its story (and invite those who do to share in the comments) but I am obsessed with it.
