I got an opportunity to add this conch piercing the other day. The way her anatomy was it was close to being an outer conch piercing, also known as a contra conch, just because of how the crus of the ear entered the conch of the ear. So it was partially the conch and crus of the ear that was pierced. She chose this double marquise threadless top that I was able to anodize to gold to match the aesthetic. New Jesse the Impaler stickers are in!!! I’m super excited how these turned out. Special thanks to Sami for designing these for me. Not only is she an amazing artist that took my ideas and made this design, but she’s also is also in here tattoo apprenticeship journey which she is also doing amazing with. If you have been with me since the beginning, you may remember my business cards that I had with a variation of batboy on them. Bat Boy comes from weekly world news and as a child I remember seeing those papers in the grocery checkout line and being intrigued. I also asked for the 1920’s rubber hose style of animation to put it in and this is the final product. I’ll be doing more merch in the future but this is a great start.

I got the opportunity to be able to pierce this 10g septum yesterday. They were discussing about getting a septum piercing and also that they wanted to stretch the septum to at least a 10g and I told them that I could get them to their desired size now. They were a bit worried as this was their first facial piercing but I assured her that it wouldn’t hurt much worse than just a standard septum piercing. After getting it done they did say that it hurt a lot less than they expected. I always love being able to perform piercings on clients that they have been wanting for a while and seeing how happy they are afterwards. I always love seeing clients that come back with amazing piercings that I have been able to perform all healed and still looking amazing. I was able to perform this venom piercing which is two vertical tongue piercings placed on each side of the tongue rather than the traditional one in the center. This piercing requires the right anatomy to make sure that it is pierced properly. She stated that the first week of healing for this one was very rough but once she got through that first week the remainder of the healing process went smoothly. I’m always grateful for the trust that my clients have for me to perform piercings that may not be very common. I was able to stack these dermal piercings vertically compared to you would see them more commonly horizontally.
