🌲 Down By The River 🌲

Finished this one today, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. 🐻

This piece is 11.5” x 12.5” and took approximately 13–15 hours to complete. I really enjoyed working on this one and watching the scene come together as I burned each detail into the wood.

What do you think? ❤️

I love how this one turned out — the bear, the flowing water, and all the little details in the surrounding woods. There’s something about wildlife pieces that makes them so fun to bring to life on wood.

THE WATCHER | SOLD

I’m pleased to share that The Watcher has officially found a new home in Ohio.

This 9” × 13” basswood piece was a special one to create, and I’m honored that it will be making its way from Washington to its new home across the country.

The Watcher is no longer available.

I do offer shipping on my pieces, with shipping costs calculated separately based on location.

Thank you to everyone who followed along with this piece and supported my work. 🦉🌲

I burned this owl portrait into natural wood, focusing on the steady gaze and fine feather details that give the bird its watchful presence. The dark background makes the warmer tones stand out, while the wood’s natural character keeps the piece grounded and one of a kind.

What do you think caught this owl’s attention? I can picture it bringing a quiet woodland presence to a cozy reading nook or gallery wall.
