We bring fairytales and folktales alive with the magic of puppets! Great for birthday parties, events, and schools. We bring to you the wonder and magic of fairy tales and other stories through Waldorf-inspired puppetry. Our simple, hand-crafted silk marionettes bring these wonderful stories to life in a unique and enchanting way. The beautiful sets we create on our portable stage take the viewer

to a “fairy tale world” filled with rich images and story wisdom that nourishes the soul and fully entertains. The soft music of the lyre and xylophone add to the magic. Perfect for birthday parties and special events of all kinds, we will bring our stage and puppets to you and give you an enchanting experience you will not soon forget. For the younger child we offer nature, seasonal, and simple stories performed with our delightful wool-felted table puppets, finger puppets and rod puppets. These can be performed on a stage or with the “story apron” on the puppeteer’s lap. Young children love these puppets, stories and accompanying songs! A wonderful addition to school curriculums as well, our performances, rich in language and imaginative pictures, support the child’s growing vocabulary, listening comprehension and attention span while feeding their active imaginations. By creating living pictures that reflect what it means to be human, they strengthen the child’s sense of self and can be helpful for building healthy social skills. Our marionette and rod puppets are especially effective and therapeutic for children on the autism spectrum.

Once Upon a Fairytale Puppet Theater has moved to McMinnville, Tennessee! I am excited to announce that I am offering an eight week Parent/Child class at the Milner Recreation Center in McMinnville starting on March 22. We will meet every Tuesday to see a puppet show and then play with new friends from 10am-11:30am. Moms will learn to make simple wool felted puppets as the children play. We hope you will join us for puppetry magic and fun!
