This is a new film of my Master Potter Marguerite, Wildenhain. It was produced by Stewards of the Redwoods to be shown on the PBS Chanel’s as a Documentary of USA artists.
Marguerite founded the pottery school “Pond Farm” north of Guernville, California in 1942-to-1980. She was the first woman potter to become a Master Potter in the German pottery guilds. In addition she design pottery models for the Royal Berlin Porcelain company.
The film was made by cinematographer David Washburn. It is a.beautiful film and runs about 30 minutes with no commercials. I have a very small part in the film.
This is the woman who taught me pottery making at her summer workshops 1976, 1977, 1979 and 1980 she was a wonderful person and and wonderful teacher, I learned well.
