We have an awesome community and generous fans of Cedarcroft-Halloween Manor. This year everyone collectively donated $747.43 for Hamilton County House of Hope!!! We give 100% of the donations to House of Hope as this helps them to provide even more services to our community such as coats for kids! We want to thank all of you for your continued support for our little Halloween display and Hamilton County House of Hope. THANK YOU! 👻🎃🤡

Didn't get a chance to come by on Halloween night? Missing Halloween already? Wish you had one more chance to walk through everything before we start breaking down?

Good news, we'll have the lights on tonight, Sunday 11/2/25 from dusk - 8pm, with all the pathways and the tents open!!

REMINDER - with the time change, it will get dark an hour earlier tonight.

UPDATE:

slight error on the photo, meant to say 11/1/25, not 1/1/25! LOL

Currently not raining in McLeansboro, just finished blowing the leaves off of the sidewalks and walkway, and turned the lights on :)

Boo...rain is forecasted to start this afternoon and into this evening. If it's still raining and/or too wet tonight, the lights and props will not be on. Our apologies in advance about the weather impact!

Stay tuned about Sunday, 11/2/25. We'll keep an eye on the weather forecast and post tomorrow morning if we'll have everything turned on for Sunday night.

Thank you to Hamilton County House of Hope for serving hot chocolate and hot apple cider to our guests last night. It was great timing with the chilly air temperature that creeped into the night!

Here we go everyone! With the rain forecasted to stop overnight, Thursday -Sunday this week is looking to be dry, so here is our projected schedule.

To kick off Thursday night lights and to help warm up your bones, Hamilton County House of Hope will be here serving up hot chocolate and hot apple cider!!

If you're looking to make a full night out of it, then take some extra time to treat yourself to dinner at one of McLeansboro's great local restaurants: Auten's Pizza House, Deep South, Foxy, Hong Kong Buffet - McLeansboro, Main Street Diner, Mimmo's Italian Restaurant, Tequila Mexican Restaurant - Mcleansboro, or The Front Porch Restaurant.

Thank you to Something Sweet for donating cookies that we handed out last Saturday night, 10/25/25, after McLeansboro Halloween on the Square!! The cookies tasted great and the kids of all ages enjoyed them!!

With our Halloween set up laid out to be a walk-through experience vs viewing from the safety of your car, when it's raining or too wet, for everyone's safety (including our props), we don't turn the lights on. Our apologies for the inconvenience for anyone who has driven from afar to enjoy Cedarcroft-Halloween Manor only to find our lights turned off!

We've been hard at work to get as much reset for this weekend as possible after the storm damage and have the main front yard areas ready! Lights will be on tonight and tomorrow night (10/25/25 and 10/26/25). Today we'll be working to try to get the west/left side of the driveway area reset and re-opened. Our apologies in advance if it's not 100% complete before tonight. Thanks everyone for your support and patience!!

Don't forget, today is also McLeansboro Halloween on the Square, with festivities starting at 4pm.
