Looking for a homeschool program where kids can learn, create, and explore beyond the usual classroom? We’ve got plenty of art to keep those creative minds busy!

Meet Kara, an artist, creative, and all-around maker who loves finding new ways to bring an idea to life. 🎨

With a background in advertising and social media, Kara developed a natural eye for visual storytelling and creating connections. Now she’s bringing that perspective into the studio and encouraging others to find their own creative voice.

When she’s not teaching, Kara is usually making something. She enjoys painting, crafting, learning the art of tattooing, cooking, and finding little ways to be creative in everyday life.

Her philosophy is simple: “I’m passionate about helping others tap into their creativity and express themselves in ways that feel fun, meaningful, and uniquely their own.”
You can currently create with Kara in our Kids Sunday Art Classes and Adult Watercolor Classes. She’ll also be at our newer programs starting in Sept. for Friday Night Arts and the Towne Center art program. 🎨✨

Michele has been teaching and creating for 34 years, and she’s still finding new ways to make something wonderful. 🧵🎨

A retired elementary school teacher, music studio leader, drawing instructor, and summer arts and crafts director, Michele has spent much of her life helping young artists discover the joy of making.

Her creative résumé is just as varied as her teaching background. At Jump Into Art, you’ll find her sharing her talents through sewing and stitching, kids’ cooking, dried and framed pendant classes, wax projects, and more. Her love of working with wax actually began years ago while leading a kindergarten class at a local museum, where she introduced her students to candle dipping. Safe to say, she was hooked! 🕯️
We’re so happy Michele found her way to Jump Into Art! 💛✨

Wish you were here? You could be. 🌴🎨
All you need is a swimsuit, some sunscreen,  and the willingness to say “why not?” We’re taking our art supplies somewhere they’ve never been before: out to sea. 🌊🎨

From February 13–20, 2027, Jump Into Art Studios is setting sail aboard Norwegian Cruise Line, with stops in Cozumel, Roatán, Harvest Caye, and Costa Maya.

This isn’t your typical vacation. It’s a week to try something new, make art with people who love creating, discover new places, and maybe leave with a few new friends along the way. We’ll have art experiences throughout the trip, complete with project kits you can take home and keep creating with long after we dock. ✨

And yes, there will be plenty of time to enjoy the ship, explore the ports, relax, and simply be on vacation. You don’t have to be a seasoned artist to come aboard with us.
