Park Theatre The Park Theater is a landmark in historic downtown McKenzie, TN. Originally constructed in the 1944

Originally constructed in the 1940's the building has not been in operation as a theater for several years. The campaign - "Park Theater: Act II" denotes the second birth of the cinema. The City of McKenzie has received a grant to restore the front facade to its original construction. Other than that , the city must work to generate funds through local sources to restore the interior to its original condition, develop a performing arts stage, and return the theater to an operating cinema.

The Park Theatre will be closed next weekend during the Sweet Tea Festival in order for Carroll Arts to have their performance of a Southern Fried Funeral on Thursday evening @ 7 pm and Sunday afternoon @ 2 pm. Tickets are only $5.00. Come and see all our local favorites! The theatre will be back Friday - August 28th with Paw Patrol! See you there!
