🏰✨ The Realm Rests Until Next Year ✨🏰
And just like that… the Realm closes its gates until next year. 🏰✨
Day Two was absolutely incredible, and we truly could not have asked for a better way to bring the Driftless Realm Renaissance Festival to a close. The town was buzzing, the laughter was plentiful, and everywhere we looked, people were having an absolutely fantastic time.
And speaking of fantastic… TRIVIA WITH SASHA RICHARDSON WAS INCREDIBLE! 🧠✨ What a way to end the weekend!
A massive, enormous, ridiculously oversized THANK YOU to our volunteers! ❤️
Thank you for your hard work, your energy, your ridiculousness, your silliness, and most importantly, your willingness to stand in front of a crowd of people and be gloriously goofy. You helped bring this little world to life, and we couldn't have done it without you.
And to our incredible vendors — thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! 🧺⚔️✨ You brought the magic, the treasures, the food, the artistry, and the merriment. We are already looking forward to seeing so many of you back in the Realm next year!
And now for a HUGE. MASSIVE. MAJOR. shout-out to Mayor Anne Kruse. 👑
Thank you for jumping in wherever you were needed, for hauling things, changing trash cans, solving problems, and doing approximately 47 things that a mayor probably shouldn't have to do. 😂 Your willingness to jump into the chaos and help make this weekend happen means more than we can say.
To every person who attended, participated, volunteered, vended, performed, dressed up, laughed, danced, played along, explored McGregor, and helped make the weekend what it was:

What started as an idea has grown into something truly magical, and watching the community come together to make it happen has been absolutely incredible.
Now…
The tents can come down.
The costumes can be hung up.
The swords can be sheathed.
The dragons can go back to their caves.
And the Realm can finally, finally…
SLEEP. 🐉💤
