Spring is a busy time on the homestead. We have lots to do and share with you too!

We will be holding PlayShops just once a month during this season. Join us for the March PlayShop and loads of fun!

Suggested donation $25 for first child plus $10 for each additional child. Adults are welcome to join free of cost and required to join if kids are 8 or under.

Please register ahead of time if you plan on making it!

PlayShop days are the best!

Welcoming all ages! We will transition to one PlayShop per month in May. More details coming soon.

Each PlayShop offers a fruitful balance of work, play, creation and sharpening your outdoor/gardening skills. There’s something in it for everyone!

Playshops are geared towards nature loving kids and their families, feel free to share with folks who may be interested in attending. If you are a personal friend who doesn’t have kids but would like to join in on the glee, please send a PM!

Join us on Saturdays for Family Friendly Fun! Playshops are a great time to bond with your family and other earth loving folks as well as pick up some homestead/garden skills along the way!

Families are encouraged to stay and participate, but you may drop off and pick up if your child is over 8.

Suggested donation per playshop: $25

We had so much fun this Saturday at Playshop! We foraged to make a delicious salad, made handmade paper out of recycled material, and planted brassicas.

Join us on Saturdays from 1-4 on the homestead!

Looking forward to sharing this special spring time on the 'stead with you and yours!

Areas we will focus on this month with be spring time crafts, wild foraging for food and medicine, planting, & raising chickens.

Children of ALL ages (babies-teens) are welcome. Parents of kiddos 8 and under are required to stay and participate. Playshops are crafted to be educational for all!

Suggested donation is $25 per child (no cost for adults). Should cost be an obstacle, inquire about sliding scale or multiple child plans, and work/trade opportunities.

Early spring "Homestead Playshops" are the best! We planted asparagus, made egg candles and played with baby chicks.

Happy return of the Sun! Spring is truly here and oh so welcome on this happy homestead.

My first baby hatched over night! It’s sweet chirping awoke me around 3 am and I was surprised to see it already fully out of its shell. Here we are some hours later and still only one chicken hatched with 23 to go!

Last Saturday’s Homestead PlayShop was one for the books! We practiced catching rain water, played around with some bricks, held chickens, made crafts with yarn and sticks and planted some taters!

Looking forward to more mischief this upcoming Saturday March 16th.

We had a great time at our first Homestead Play Shop!

We learned about chicken care, planted parsley, searched for animal tracks and made ancient woven grass crafts!
