Today we celebrated our treasured member and friend Donna Martin as McDonough Woman's Club 2026 Member of the Year. Donna spreads joy wherever she goes and generously shares her many talents in service to the Club. Embracing our motto "A Vision and a Task," while exemplifying our scripture, "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with all thy might."

A delicious pot-luck luncheon was enjoyed by all as we look forward to our annual summer break. Monthly meetings resume in September.

As always, our Clubhouse is available for your small parties or gatherings.

Summer almost officially here...partying still going on, birthdays every day or maybe planning your fall events...we just might have the event space you need! We have fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, on site parking, and a great room that can look like Home and you don't have to clean your house to party! We meet next week for our June lunch and resume our business meetings in September, but our clubhouse is available all summer! Contact us if we can help.

Enjoyed having McDonough Junior Women’s Club President Bobbi Martinez and VP Yadi Westbrooks as our speakers this week at our May meeting. We learned all about the MJWC activities and how they support the community. Their big fundraiser are the tomato sandwiches they will prepare and sell at the Geranium Festival tomorrow. The tomato sandwiches with and without onion are a festival favorite! BTW, the Lions Club, also a community group that gives back to the community is the festival organizer. Pictured also is Denise Sowell, our VP and Program chair and President Donna Wilson.

Tomorrow is the Day. You can pay at the door. Our last fundraiser until fall. $20 for playing games and lunch. Play Mexican Bingo and have opportunities to win prizes! May 14 9:30 am.

I know you have seen this picture on FB! It is a reminder that the McDonough Junior Women's Club is having their annual Geranium Festival booth this Saturday, May 16. It is their primary fundraiser for the year and the sandwiches are delicious. Tomorrow at our MWC meeting the President Bobbi Martinez and the VP will be our speakers and share the history of the MJWC and the many activities they sponsor to give back to the community. May is our last business meeting until September. We have a member June lunch and do not meet in July and August. If you need event space for a party or other type meeting, remember we are available to rent. Please message us per this page for information on scheduling and pricing.
